     ICFOSS mandated with propagation, promotion and development of Free and Open Source Software is organising 5 day Training on “LaTeX” , as a part of Capacity building Programme, starting from May 10^th2021 onwards as multiple batches for Students , Faculty & Professionals. Considering the current Covid pandemic, ICFOSS proposes to conduct this Certification Programme through online, instead of a traditional class room based trainings.

Objectives:

     This Online Certification Programme shall be a 5 day-long course which provides the participants with hands on experience on LaTex. Under the guidance of experienced resource persons from ICFOSS, participant shall get live online support, to complete the tasks assigned to them. The level of progress of each participant will be analysed through a project at the end of the program.

• 15 hours of industry-lead training

• Topics covered : Latex installation , running , latex editors, latex packages, document creation, Text Formating ,Table of contents, List. Images, Tables ,Box, Verbatim, Beamer, Glossary, circuits, Mathematics. Bibiliography, Malayalam document creation, XeTex. Templates: Biodata, Journal , Thesis. Create your own class file. Sample template.

• Project Submission

   

Participants:

• The number of participants for the proposed programme is limited to 50 per batch.

• Application shall be invited online. Registration link shall be published through ICFOSS website and social media pages.

Certification Criteria: Certificates shall be issued to participants who qualifies 80% of attendance and with 50 % marks in Project.

Dates: Multiple batches are available from May 10^th 2021 onwards.

(Morning Batch- 3 hours/day from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM )

(Evening batch- 3 hours/day from 06.00 PM to 09.00 PM- Holidays are applicable)

Registration Fee: Registration fee of Rs. 600/- shall be charged (Which includes the Registration fee & Course Content Charges)
