The International Centre for Free and Open Source Solutions (ICFOSS), under the Government of Kerala, is pleased to announce the fifth edition of its “Winter School for Women” on “Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models”, scheduled to take place from 29th January to 9th February, 2024 at the ICFOSS Sports Hub, Karyavattom, Trivandrum. This program is an initiative aimed at increasing the participation of women in Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) communities.

The 12-day residential program will feature sessions on FOSS awareness and gender issues in technology and is intended for post-graduate students, research scholars, faculty members and professionals from industry. ICFOSS aspires to make this a national event by inviting prominent speakers from the academic community and from the industry. Through this program, ICFOSS hopes to cultivate women leaders in the field of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS).
