One day Workshop on GIS Insights: Mapping Tomorrow with Open Source Spatial Solutions

ICFOSS is organizing a One-day workshop for the officials of Kerala Government and Institutions on “GIS Insights: Mapping Tomorrow with Open Source Spatial Solutions” which is aiming to promote open source tools on spatial data management, also to unlock business opportunities in Government and public sectors. This program scheduled for 18th January 2024 (Thursday) from 9:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m. at ICFOSS, Swatantra,Green Field Stadium, Karyavattom, Thiruvananthapuram, will have sessions by invited experts from the industry.This program is designed to provide an on the benefits of Open Source Solutions in GIS

Goals/Objectives

• To create an awareness of incorporating GIS solutions in governance

• To familiarize with open source solutions in GIS

• Emphasize the importance of community involvement in open source GIS projects.

• Inspire participants to become advocates for open source spatial solutions in their organizations and communities.

• Utilizing open source GIS tools to solve real-world spatial problems.
