ICFOSS organizes a 30 Hour long online certificate program in “Engineering with Python”. The training is scheduled to be held from 13^th August 2025 to 2^nd September 2025. The proposed Certificate Program is a drive to improve the technical capabilities of upcoming engineers towards Free and Open Source Technology. Over the span of 15 days (30 hours in total, 2 hours per day), this course offers hands-on experience in intermediate Python programming.

Objectives:

This Program is designed to significantly enhance participants Python skills through the utilization of free software, thereby fostering a deep appreciation for open-source tools. It also cultivates creativity and problem-solving abilities in Engineering Technology and Scientific Research. Guided by seasoned professionals from ICFOSS, participants will receive live online assistance to successfully navigate the assigned tasks. Progress is assessed through simulation tests, and participants execute designated projects.

String functions, Conditionals and Boolean expressions, Strings and its functions, Tuples, Lists, Python Try- Exception, Python JSON, Files and Text Processing, Regular Expressions, Regular Expressions (Cont), Functions, Object-Oriented Programming in Python, Numpy, Pandas, Python Frameworks: Flask, routing, templates, Python Frameworks: Django -> Models -> Views, Django: Forms, User authentication, URLs and Django: Admin Interface, URL Routing, Static Files.

Certification Criteria: Certificates will be issued to participants who qualifies with:

• 80% of attendance

• 50% marks in Online Examination

• 50% marks in Assignments

• 50% marks on Project
