International Centre for Free and Open Source Solutions (ICFOSS) is pleased to announce an Online Certificate program in “Machine Learning through FOSS”, from 1^st to 19^th September 2026, aimed at enhancing the technical competencies of aspiring engineers in Free and Open Source Technology.

Objectives:

This Certificate program is centered around Machine Learning (ML) using free software tools, aimed at cultivating a strong enthusiasm for open source technologies among participants. Spanning 15 days (2Hrs/Day/Online- Except holidays), the program provides extensive practical training in a variety of Machine Learning techniques and features. Additionally, it emphasizes the cultivation of creativity and the sharpening of problem-solving skills essential for Engineering Technology and Scientific Research.

Participants will acquire dedicated live online support from experienced mentors at ICFOSS, ensuring extensive guidance throughout the program. Progress will be evaluated through assignments, simulation test and project.

Probabilistic Learning• Naive Bayes classifiers, Support Vector Machines (SVM), Tree-Based Models, Advanced Ensemble Techniques, Unsupervised Learning, Model Evaluation & Performance Metrics, ML Model Deployment with Streamlit, Introduction to Neural Networks (ML perspective), Neural Networks for Machine Learning (High-level only), TensorFlow for Machine Learning (Introductory), PyTorch for Machine Learning (Introductory), Neural Network Use Cases & ML Wrap-Up.

• The number of participants for the proposed program is limited to 50 nos per batch.

Certification Criteria: Certification will be issued to participants who qualifies with:

• 80% of attendance

• 50% marks in Online Examination

• 50% marks in Assignments

• 50% marks on Project
