ICFOSS
is organising three days training on FOSS Data Analytics with R and
Python for CDIT employees from 10th to 12th of November, 2017. Data
analytics (DA) is the process of examining data sets in order to draw
conclusions about the information they contain, increasingly with the
aid of specialized systems and software. Data analytics technologies and
techniques are widely used in commercial industries to enable
organizations to make more-informed business decisions and by scientists
and researchers to verify or disprove scientific models, theories and
hypotheses. FOSS data Analytic Training Contains three modules which
includes Python Programming, Open GIS and R Programming.
Schedule of Training
The
training shall be for three days, which will contain theory classes and
hands-on training. The detailed schedule may be seen as below:-

Basic stats in R (introduction to statistical analysis using R)
