ICFOSS,
invites Engineering Students and Young Professionals to undergo a one
month residential training on " Free and Open Source technology for
sustainable development" at ICFOSS office, Technopark,
Thiruvananthapuram. The selected candidates shall be volunteers in the
organising team of FOSS Young Professional Meet, 2016.
General conditions
Registration is open to Students from Engineering Colleges and those
who recently completed BTech course from institutions in Kerala and
nearby States.
Selected candidates will be required to be stationed in Trivandrum during the month of December, 2016.
ICFOSS shall be arranging accommodation including food for all outstation candidates.
Selected candidates will be required to complete a project work
based on the theme " Free and Open Source technology for sustainable
development".
Selected candidates shall be volunteers in organizing team of FOSS Young Professional Meet, 2016.
Participants are expected to be FOSS user and have fundamental
coding knowledge in open source software/hardware. Preference will be
given to candidates who have undergone training programs/workshops
conducted by ICFOSS.
Selection process
Interested candidates are requested to undertake the online
registration (see below for registration form) on or before 23rd
November, 2016.
Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a personal interview on 28th/29th November, 2016.
Selected candidates will be joining the training program.
Candidates completing the training program successfully will be awarded certificates by ICFOSS.
Successful projects shall be considered for further funding by ICFOSS.
