The Government of Kerala established ICFOSS with the mandate of carrying out academic and research programs and advocacy centered around Free and Open Source Software and thereby achieve the critical objectives of promotion, propagation and development of Free and Open Source Software. ICFOSS would like to prepare an inventory of communities/individuals working around Free and Open Source Software aimed at the progressive development of FOSS. These communities/individuals can work in association with ICFOSS for introducing new initiatives of FOSS.
