ICFOSS invites applications from final year B Tech students enrolled in Kerala Technological University for internship as per KTU norms (Order No: U.O.No. 3068/2023/KTU dated 25.11.2023)
Period of internship :- up to 6 months from 1st December 2024

Stipend :- Rs. 7500/ per month.
Educational Qualification :- B Tech students who are currently in their 7th semester and who are expected to finish BTech in May 2025
Selection procedure:
(1) Prospective students are requested to apply online on or before 18th November 2024
(2) Students are requested to upload a statement of purpose , along with testimonials of any previous FOSS contributions.
(3) Final selection will be based on a written test/ interview
Terms & Conditions:
Final Year Students enrolled in KTU, should not have any current backlogs at the time of application.
The
internship will be full time, 6 days per week, at ICFOSS
office,
Thiruvananthapuram. Working time : 9. 30 am to 5.30 pm.
Students will have to find their own accommodation.
If selected they have to join on completing the 7th semester after completing the formalities of KTU
At
the time of joining, the intern has to submit a certificate signed
by the
HOD/Principal regarding academic eligibility.
The students will work full time on an ongoing FOSS Project under the guidance of ICFOSS staff.
An internship report should be submitted at the end of internship to the university after getting approval from ICFOSS.
As per university rules the internship can be treated as final year project. The student should ensure that the college authorities agree to this.
Students will have an additional option of continuing the internship till their university results published.
The selection will be based on the statement of purpose and test/ interview.
This internship will be very rigorous in nature and duty leave will be provided only for examination purpose.
If required interns will have to travel to the project sites of ICFOSS. TA/DA as per rules will be provided in such cases.
The students joining this programme are expected to have an in depth understanding of FOSS Technologies. Last year interns ended up with high profile jobs in industry.
The interns will have to make arrangements with respective university/ college for online classes if any.
The internship completion certificate will only be issued if the intern successfully completes a minimum of 60 working days at ICFOSS during 8th semester, ICFOSS reserves the right, not to fill the internship vacancies if suitable candidates are not available.
ICFOSS reserves the right to cancel the internship without assigning any reason their off
