Faculty Development Programmes in association with KTU

ICFOSS conducted a Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) on FOSS lab in association with Kerala Technological University, with the objective of capacity building of engineering faculty during January and February, 2017. It is decided to conduct another similar programme on Scilab/Octave and LaTeX as follows:-

FDP on LaTeX (Writing Research papers using LaTeX)

Dates: 17^th and 18^th July, 2017

Venue: ICFOSS office

Topics covered :-

Day 1 : Introduction to LaTeX and LaTeX environments, Inclusion of Tables and figures
Day 2 : Mathematical equation editing,Preparation of journal/
conference papers/Reports, Preparation of bibliography, and slide preparation using Beamer

FDP on Scilab/Octave

Dates: 21^st and 22^nd July, 2017

Venue: ICFOSS office

Experiments based on EC 333 lab (5^th Semester).
