ExpEYES Masters' Training Programme
ExpEYES is a hardware & software framework for developing science experiments, demonstrations and projects without getting in to the details of electronics or computer programming. It is from the PHOENIX project of Inter-University Accelerator Centre,New Delhi. It converts your PC into a science laboratory. Design of ExpEYES combines the real-time measurement capability of micro-controllers with the ease and flexibility of Python programming language for data analysis and visualisation. It also functions as a test equipment for electronics hobbyists and engineering students.
ICFOSS in association with DPI conducted a Curriculum Committee Meeting, Phase 1, at ICFOSS office on 9thand 10th May 2016. The second phase of it was conducted on 20-22 May 2016.The curriculum committee had released an ExpEYES Experiment handbook for High School teachers based on 8th - 10th Grade Physics Curriculum.A two day Masters' training programme is was held at Adhyapaka Bhavan, Ernakulam and Sree Rama Varma High School, Ernakulam during 23-24 May 2016 for 28 teachers For more details of ExpEYES, visit http://expeyes.in/
